The goal of this seven-day accelerated program for Linux certification is to educate students on the elements of system administration common to all distributions of the Linux operating system and associated tools.

The Linux Professional Institute (LPIC-1) certification is distribution neutral, following the Linux Standard Base and other relevant standards and conventions.  The CompTIA Linux+ certification validates technical competency and provides a broad awareness of Linux operating systems. Those holding Linux+ certification demonstrate critical knowledge of installation, operation, administration and troubleshooting services.

Students will be able to take the CompTIA Linux+ and/or Linux Professional Institute examinations during the course of the program.
