Course Description
Our 5-day CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) Boot Camp covers all requirements
for the globally-recognized CASP certification. This mastery-level certification
demonstrates knowledge of security concepts, tools and procedures to conceptualize,
design, and engineer secure solutions across complex enterprise environments.
How does CASP compare to ISC2's CISSP Certification?
CASP not only covers policy design, but daily cyber security management as well.
While CISSP is based on the knowledge of theory across ten domains, CASP is based
on hands-on knowledge and daily management. CASP contains performance-based questions
on its certification exam, and heavily emphasizes enterprise security and the current
tools and techniques needed for success.
What does this program cover?
Our CASP Training Camp covers the critical thinking and judgment that is applied
across a broad spectrum of security disciplines to propose and implement solutions
that map to enterprise drivers.
What kinds of questions does the CASP exam contain?
The CASP certification exam contains up to 80 questions (some performance-based)
covering Enterprise Security, Risk Management, Policies and Procedures, Legalities,
Research and Analysis, and Integration of Computing, Communications, and Business
Disciplines. It is a pass/fail exam that typically takes around 150 minutes to complete.
Prerequisites
It is recommended that students have at least 10 years experience in IT administration
including at least 5 years of hands-on technical security experience. The CASP certification
is intended to follow
CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certifications.
Our Guarantee
Should a student complete our CASP Boot Camp without having successfully passed
the vendor exam, the student may re-attend that program for a period of up to one
year – free of charge. Student will only be responsible for accommodations and vendor
exam fees. We also provide mentoring programs post and prior to class to support
your learning plan.
