Training Camp Partners with Microsoft to Offer Free One-Day Intro to Windows® 7
Sessions Designed to Help IT Pros Get Up to Speed on New OS to Enhance Job Prospects
Trevose, PA, 3/30/2010 - Training Camp, the award-winning developer and provider of accelerated IT training and certification programs, announced today that it has partnered with Microsoft to offer a free one-day Introduction to Windows® 7 Training Course through its exclusive SteppingStone program. The goal is to provide IT professionals an opportunity to update their skill set with certification to the latest Windows operating system in order to achieve a competitive advantage for re-entering the job market.

Designed to help IT professionals jumpstart their proficiency and certification for Microsoft’s new Windows 7 operating system, the inaugural event took place on Friday, March 5 at the Microsoft® Technology Center near Dallas, TX with 72 in attendance.

The one-day course covers the basics of Windows 7, including the various versions and system requirements, as well as new features and other topics that may be featured on the certification exam. High-level topics to be covered include:
• installing, upgrading and migrating to Windows 7;
• configuring file access and printers on Windows 7 clients;
• securing Windows 7 desktops; and
• configuring mobile computing and remote access in Windows 7.
